About Case Converter
Building simple, useful tools that solve real problems. That's what we're about.
Our Story
The Case Converter started as a personal tool. I was working on a project that required formatting hundreds of product names, and the tedium of manually adjusting capitalization was driving me crazy. So I built a simple converter for myself. Then colleagues started asking for it. Then friends. Eventually, making it publicly available just made sense.
What began as a quick utility has grown into something we're genuinely proud of. The core functionality remains simple because text case conversion should be simple. But the details matter. The interface needed to work smoothly on phones. The conversions needed to handle international characters correctly. The whole thing needed to respect privacy, not just claim to.
That's the story in a nutshell. A tool built to scratch an itch became something that helps thousands of people save time every day. Not bad for what started as a few dozen lines of JavaScript.
What We Do
We build web tools. Not platforms, not apps with subscription fees, not services that require accounts. Just tools. Open a page, use the tool, close the page. No friction, no commitment, no expectations beyond doing one thing well.
The Case Converter is our primary focus. It converts text between different capitalization styles. That's it. We've resisted the temptation to add unrelated features or turn it into a "text processing suite" because we believe specialized tools serve users better than bloated all-in-one solutions.
Everything we build follows the same principles. Free to use. No registration required. Privacy respecting. Works on any device. Does exactly what it says it does.
Our Approach
Building a good tool requires more than just making something that works. It has to work reliably, work fast, and work in ways users expect. Getting there means paying attention to details most people never think about.
Take title case conversion as an example. It seems simple enough. Capitalize the first letter of each word. But then you realize that "The Lord of the Rings" shouldn't become "The Lord Of The Rings" because "of" and "the" are minor words that style guides say should stay lowercase. Unless they're at the beginning. Then they should be capitalized. And what about hyphenated words? And names with particles like "von" or "de"?
These edge cases multiply the more you look. Our approach is to research thoroughly, implement carefully, test extensively, and iterate based on real feedback. We can't handle every possible edge case perfectly, but we can handle the common ones correctly and document the limitations honestly.

Our Values
Quality
We don't release things until they work properly. Every feature is tested across browsers and devices. Bugs get fixed promptly. The code is clean enough that we don't dread maintaining it. Quality isn't a marketing term for us; it's how we decide whether something is ready to ship.
Value
A tool needs to provide genuine value to justify existing. Ours saves time. Time that would otherwise be spent manually adjusting text, retyping passages, or looking up capitalization rules. That's concrete value that adds up for regular users.
Ability
Knowing how to build something right matters more than building something fast. Our technical capabilities shape what we can offer, which is why we invest in understanding problems thoroughly before implementing solutions. Deep expertise leads to better tools.
Trustworthiness
When we say your text stays private, we mean it. When we say there are no hidden costs, there aren't. Trust takes years to build and moments to destroy. We protect it by doing exactly what we say we do, with no exceptions and no fine print.
Why Trust Us
Trust is earned through consistent behavior over time. Here's what we offer:
Transparency. Our privacy practices are clear. We don't collect your text. We don't require accounts. We don't sell data because we don't have any data to sell.
Accessibility. We respond to contact inquiries. We listen to feedback. We fix reported problems. You're not shouting into a void when you reach out to us.
Stability. The tool works today, worked yesterday, and will work tomorrow. We don't pivot every year, don't rebrand for no reason, and don't abandon projects when something shinier comes along.
Competence. The tool does what it's supposed to do. It handles edge cases gracefully. It doesn't break when you throw unusual input at it. Technical competence isn't glamorous, but it's foundational to trust.
