Quick Start Guide to Hero Prompts

Step 1: Enter Your Article Headline

Navigate to the HeroPrompt Generator. The most important input is your article headline. Our engine parses the semantic subject matter of your title to extract core themes, emotional tone, and conceptual metaphors.

For example, instead of a vague query like "marketing", enter your exact working title: 10 Data-Driven Strategies to Boost Email Open Rates in 2026.

Step 2: Add 2-3 Visual Concept Keywords

In the "Specific Subject or Key Concepts" field, provide 2 to 4 tangible visual elements you would like to see in the composition. For the email marketing headline above, you might enter: glowing digital envelope, analytical upward chart, clean notification bell. This prevents the AI model from generating purely abstract, meaningless swirls and focuses the render on recognizable objects.

Step 3: Select Niche and Aspect Ratio

Select your industry category (e.g., Digital Marketing, Technology, Finance) and target aspect ratio:

• 16:9 Widescreen (1200 x 675 px): Recommended for 90% of standard blog layouts and Open Graph social cards.
• 3:2 Editorial (1200 x 800 px): Recommended for long-form essays and medium-style magazine themes.
• 2:1 Panoramic (1200 x 600 px): Recommended for ultra-wide hero banners that prioritize above-the-fold text visibility.
• 4:3 Classic (1200 x 900 px): Recommended for two-column split layouts where text and graphics sit side-by-side.

Step 4: Generate and Select Your Favorite Direction

Click "Generate 3 Hero Prompts". In under a second, the tool generates three distinct aesthetic styles:

1. Option 1 (3D Isometric & Octane Render): Modern geometric shapes with frosted glass layers and clean lighting. Ideal for SaaS, technical tutorials, and product overviews.
2. Option 2 (Cinematic Studio Photography): Photorealistic composition shot on a 50mm f/1.8 lens with creamy background bokeh. Ideal for finance, leadership, health, and lifestyle.
3. Option 3 (Minimalist Vector & Glassmorphism): Sleek translucent UI cards and abstract gradient meshes. Ideal for documentation and developer hubs.

Step 5: Paste Prompt into Your AI Tool

Click the "Copy Prompt" button on your preferred variation. Then open your image generator of choice:

In Midjourney (Discord or Web)

Type /imagine, paste the copied prompt, and hit Enter. The prompt already includes the required aspect ratio flag (--ar 16:9), model flag (--v 6.0), raw style flag (--style raw), and anti-text exclusions (--no text letters logo).

In OpenAI DALL-E 3 (ChatGPT Plus)

Simply paste the prompt directly into the chat box. DALL-E 3 will process the widescreen framing and negative anti-text instructions automatically.

Step 6: Download, Compress, and Apply Alt Text

Once your AI tool generates the final image:

1. Upscale or download the full-resolution image.
2. Convert the image to modern WebP format using a free compressor (target 80-150 KB).
3. Upload the file to your CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, or custom HTML).
4. Copy the Recommended SEO Alt Text provided directly below the prompt in HeroPrompt and paste it into your image's alt tag.
